LINCOLN, Neb. (KMTV) — The Huskers have won their first game of the season.
Nebraska beat South Alabama 35-21.
The Cornhuskers ranked 24th in the AP's preseason top 25 football poll. This is the first time since 2014 they have ranked within the top 25.
Sept. 7 the team takes on the Colorado Buffaloes in Boulder.
