LINCOLN (KMTV) — After losing their season opener at Ohio State, the Huskers now turn their attention towards 9th ranked Wisconsin.
The Badgers are coming off a 45-7 blowout win over Illinois in their opener last Friday. Wisconsin has won the last seven straight in the series against the Big Red.
It'll be NU's first home game of the season but there will no fans in the stands other than family members of players and coaches.
"It's definitely going to be different," senior defensive lineman Ben Stille said. "Communication on defense is a hell of a lot easier when you don't have 90,000 screaming at you."
"They know who they are on both sides of the ball," NU head coach Scott Frost said of the Badgers.
Frost also addressed Ohio State coach Ryan Day's apology for not taking a knee at the end of last Saturday's game.
"If we want the score to be different, we need to play better," Frost said. "That's the bottom line."
Kickoff Saturday at Memorial Stadium is set for 2:30 p.m. on FS1.
