OMAHA (KMTV) — Iowa kicker Keith Duncan doesn't regret a celebration that involved blowing a kiss to the Nebraska sideline last season after hitting the game-winning field goal against the Huskers.
"I would not have done anything differently," Duncan told reporters on Tuesday. "I wish it could've lasted longer. It was a lot of fun. Something that I'll always remember."
Duncan also discussed the response he received from some Husker fans.
"I've gotten a lot of Twitter messages, hand-written letters," said Duncan. "I think that's really cool. They have a lot of very passionate fans. I love playing at Nebraska. We have a lot of respect for their program as well as their fans. I hope we can do it again this year."
The Hawkeyes are scheduled to host the Huskers on Saturday November 28 but NU athletic director Bill Moos says he's trying to get the game moved to the traditional Black Friday date.
