UPDATE, 4 p.m. | The Kansas City Chiefs have officially arrived in Tampa. Head coach Andy Reid, in a business suit with a red tie, was the first of the coaches/players to exit the plane. The team took about 10-15 minutes to exit the plane, after which they boarded several buses en route to the team hotel.

UPDATE, 3 p.m. | The Chiefs are set to arrive in Tampa around 4:30 p.m. eastern.

EARLIER | The Kansas City Chiefs wrapped their final Super Bowl LV practice in Kansas City Saturday morning before boarding a flight to Tampa.

Players, coaches and team personnel gathered at Kansas City International Airport around noon as snowy and windy conditions buffeted those boarding one of two planes on the tarmac.

The Chiefs are set to arrive in Tampa later this afternoon.

It's the second time the team has been in Tampa this season.

Chiefs head coach Andy Reid said he planned to follow the same routine - right down to staying in the same hotel - as when the Chiefs played the Buccaneers late in 2020.

According to pool reports, Reid said the team had "good energy" at Saturday's practice.

"It's important to have that. This was just kind of a review day, so we go back through all the situations and make sure we have all those covered."

The Chiefs received good news in that center Daniel Kilgore was cleared to come back from the team's COVID-19/Reserve list. Kilgore and wide receiver Demarcus Robinson were both on the list earlier in the week due to close-contact to a barber that later tested positive for COVID-19. Robinson was cleared to return on Friday.

No Chiefs tested positive for the virus in the team's latest round of testing.

Those not making the trip include Chiefs linebackers/assistant outline linebackers coach Britt Reid, Andy Reid's son. Britt Reid was involved in a multi-vehicle crash Thursday night near the Truman Sports Complex that injured two children.

Andy Reid is still expected to coach in the game, according to several reports.
