OMAHA, Neb. (KMTV) — Day one of the Nebraska high school state wrestling tournament is in the books in Class A:

AT 106 POUNDS, OMAHA BRYAN SENIOR MOHAMUD ABDI IS SEMIFINAL BOUND FOR THE FIRST TIME AFTER A FIVE-THREE WIN THE QUARTERFINALS.
Abdi: It's like very emotional cause I started wrestling my freshman year. It's amazing how far I've come to become a wrestler and an individual. That's really all I care about my senior year, just placing at state. It's amazing. I didn't know I would feel this good honestly.
