Temperatures for the last weekend in October look pretty nice, especially Saturday with highs around 70. However, a cold front arrives late Saturday into Sunday providing the area with strong gusty winds for several hours on Sunday.
The wind gusts will be blowing in from the northwest ranging between 20-30 mph before 2 p.m.
The winds will ease up late in the afternoon on Sunday. But if you have outdoor activities and wind is a factor, Saturday will be the day to do yard work, enjoy local pumpkin patches, as well as other fall activities across the area.
The final week of October temperatures will jump back up into the upper 60s by Monday with light winds, but another front arrives on Tuesday. The wind will pick up again and there is a slight chance for a few showers with slightly cooler temperatures. Halloween is shaping up to be dry with near-normal temperatures and the rest of the week temperatures keep trending downward as another front passes through on November 1.
