OMAHA, NE — When the Salvation Army asked people to donate relief supplies over the weekend, they may not have realized just how generous people are around here.

Drop-offs were made at the old Canfield's at 84th and Center.

3 News Now anchor Jennifer Griswold took us through the building in a Facebook Live update to show us just how much people want to help the victims of this devastating flood.

The Salvation Army will continue to accept drop-offs Monday at the same location from noon to 6 p.m. (Please note, Jennifer mentions an end time of 7 p.m. in the video, but we are now told the hours will be noon to 6 p.m. Monday.)

They are asking for flood cleanup and relief items such as shovels, masks, tarps, disinfectant, bottled water and sports drinks.
