OMAHA, Neb. (KMTV) — Omaha Police say detectives made an arrest Saturday in connection with last weekend's shooting of a 4-year-old girl.
Diondray Meridy, 27, was arrested and booked into Douglas County Corrections for 1st Degree Assault, Use of a Weapon to Commit a Felony, Felon in Possession of a Weapon and Bond Review.
On Dec. 29, the girl was struck by gunfire and sustained non-life threatening injuries after her father's van was shot at near N 27th and Ellison.
