Larry Goynes, the man accused of shooting and killing 27-year-old Kyle LeFlore, was charged with first-degree murder in Douglas County Tuesday.
Omaha Police say 27-year-old Larry Goynes opened fire in the Florence neighborhood causing what Kyle's father, Kay called a "senseless death over jewlery."
Goynes was arrested on Jan. 12, six days after LeFlore died.
A preliminary hearing for Goynes will take place on Feb. 21.
