OMAHA, Neb. (KMTV) — Google has announced that the company is expanding to Papillion. There was a groundbreaking ceremony today for 10:00 a.m.

Nebraska Governor Pete Ricketts, Congressman Don Bacon, Papillion Mayor David Black, and other local officials were on hand to welcome Google.

This data center is $600 million investment in the state's economy. Back in February, the company announced it was investing in states all over the country, and Nebraska was on that list.

Reporter Jake Wasikowski was at the groundbreaking and he will have more tonight on Three News Now Live at Six.
