Police arrest teen in connection to deadly Tuesday shooting

Police have arrested a teenager in connection with a fatal shooting near Florence Boulevard and Miami Street Tuesday.

OPD arrested a 17-year-old male for three counts of Accessory to a felony regarding the murder of 19-year-old Walter Griffin.

Officers responded to the area of 20th and Miami Street after 10 p.m. Tuesday to investigate multiple ShotSpotter alerts, and 911 calls of shots fired.

Officers arrived on scene and located three injured victims. Two victims were transported to CHI Creighton University Medical Center where they were treated and released. Griffin was declared dead at the scene.
