Because of his "substantial prior history" and because "the murder manifested exceptional depravity," prosecutors will seek the death penalty for Aubrey Trail, court documents show.
Trail, 51, has been charged with first-degree murder in the death of Sydney Loofe. He previously admitted he was responsible for Loofe's death.
Bailey Boswell, 24, faces the same charges as Trail.
Trail is scheduled to be in court on Friday.
