Creighton baseball won its fourth straight game Friday night, 2-1, topping former Missouri Valley foe, Evansville, at TD Ameritrade Park.  The Bluejays improved to 14-6 overall this season with the win.

Senior right-hander Ryan Tapani notched 7.2 innings of one-run ball to improve to 5-0 this season for Creighton. The Bluejays took the lead for good on Friday in the bottom of the 7th inning. Parker Upton blasted a ground-rule double and scored later in the frame from an infield error on a grounder from Isaac Collins that gave CU the 2-1 lead.

The two teams are back on the diamond Saturday afternoon in the second game of the weekend set. First pitch is set for 2 p.m.
