OMAHA, Neb. (KMTV) — The Creighton men's basketball team pulled away from Loyola Chicago in the first round of the NIT on Tuesday night, 71-60.
Martin Krempelj hit a career-high four three pointers and scored a team-high 17 points. CU had five players in double figures.
The 2nd seeded Jays now faced 3rd seed Memphis at a time and location to be determined.
