Creighton comes back to beat Providence

OMAHA (KMTV) — Marcus Zegarowski hit the game-winning three pointer with 3.2 seconds left as Creighton rallied late to beat Providence on Saturday in Omaha, 78-74. Zegarowski came off the bench after experiencing dizziness before the game.

Creighton ended the game on a 9-0 run in the final 86 seconds.

The Jays improved to 14-5 overall, 3-3 in the BIG EAST.

Ty-Shon Alexander scored a team-high 24 points, while David Duke dropped a career-high 36 for the Friars.

CU is back in action on Wednesday at DePaul.
