PHILADELPHIA (KMTV) — The Creighton men's basketball team knocked off #8 Villanova on the road Saturday, 76-61.
CU's Denzel Mahoney scored a season-high 21 points for the Jays.
Ty-Shon Alexander added 16, while Mitch Ballock had 11.
The win improves Creighton to 17-5 overall, 6-3 in the BIG EAST.
CU remains on the road at Providence on Wednesday starting at 6 p.m. on FSN.
