Creighton rolls Bemidji State improving to 19-7

The Creighton men's basketball team defeated Bemidji State at home Tuesday night. 

The Beavers held a steady lead throughout the beginning of the first half but the Bluejays came back taking control of the game in the last ten minutes of the first half. Creighton headed into the locker room at halftime with a nine point lead. Creighton's Toby Hegner led the Jays with nine points in the first half. 

Creighton ran away with the lead over the Division II team in the second half. Bluejay freshman Jacob Epperson recorded a career-high 15 points in Creighton's 94-46 win. Epperson had his redshirt lifted January 27th against Georgetown. 

Other Bluejays finishing in double-figures include Marcus Foster (12), Tyler Clement (11) and Khyri Thomas (10).

Next up, Creighton (19-7, 8-5 BIG EAST) hosts Marquette (14-11, 5-8 BIG EAST) Saturday night at nine.
