CHICAGO (KMTV) — The Huskers hung around for nearly the entire game but couldn't get over the hump against 19th ranked Wisconsin, falling to the Badgers on Friday in the quarterfinals of the Big Ten Tournament, 66-62.
After trailing most of the game, Nebraska took a brief 46-45 lead with 10:18 left but couldn't hang on. The Big Red held All-Big Ten 1st team selection Ethan Happy to just four points.
Meanwhile, Glynn Watson Jr. scored 23 points to lead the Huskers.
NU fell to 18-16 overall and will now hope for a bid to the NIT on Sunday night.
