Eight Omaha North players signed to further their academic and football career at the collegiate level Wednesday morning.
Milton Sargbah - Iowa Western
Sargbah led all Class A rushers this season with 2355 yards and 28 touchdowns. Sargbah finished his high school career with 5087 yards and 59 touchdowns.
Brice LeKics - Morningside
LeKics was a dominant wide receiver with nine catches for 171 yards and two touchdowns.
Jai'Dyn Hughes - Bethany College
Hughes played as a linebacker and ranked third on the team with 108 tackles and 8.5 tackles for loss. He also finished the season with two defensive touchdowns.
DeAndre Butts - Midland University
Butts was a two year starter and key player on the offensive line. On defense he finished with 17 tackles and two tackles for loss.
Jamison Officer-Thurston - Doane University
Officer-Thurston was a two-way starter who played tight end and defensive end. At tight end he had four catches for 104 yards and a touchdown, he also added two quarterback sacks.
Kyree Ellebb - Midland University
Elleb had 50 tackles on defense and 10 receptions at wide receiver.
Alex Wiliford - Iowa Western
Wiliford was a three year starter on the Vikings' defensive line. He holds the school record for career tackles for loss with 47.
Vernon Johnson - Wayne State
Johnson led the defense with three interceptions and 21 tackles. He had 22 catches for 374 yards and three touchdowns.
