MILLARD, Neb. (KMTV) The Millard South football team made it the 2nd round of the playoffs last season for the first time in five years.
Now with plenty of speed and experience returning, Andy Means' team is out to prove the Pats are here to stay.
"We are a better school than people think we are," said junior running back Isaiah Harris. "They don't know how hard we actually work to get where we got last year."
The Patriots will try to make back to back playoff appearances for the first time in six seasons.
"I'm really excited this year to get back there and just do some more and hopefully make it to the finals," said senior linebacker Gage Thomas. "That's the dream, right?"
Millard South opens the 2018 season at home against Gretna on Thursday August 23.
