Absentee/Mail-In Voting

Nebraska will mail an absentee ballot application to every registered voter.

Fill out the application completely.

Applications must be physically signed. You can take a picture or scan your request and email it to your local election office. You should request your ballot as far in advance of the election as possible. The deadline to request a ballot by mail is (received by) Friday, October 23, 2020.

When your ballot arrives, read it carefully and follow the instructions to complete it and return it.

In-person Voting

The polls are open from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. in the Central Time Zone and from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. in the Mountain Time Zone.
