OMAHA, Neb. (KMTV) — Major Greg Thompson from the Salvation Army of Omaha was announced as the national winner of the Red Kettle Challenge. According to an earlier tweet, the local Salvation Army raised more than $60,000 during the event in which National Commander Kenneth Hodder challenged Salvation Army officers to raise the most money during a four hour period.
