It was a defensive dogfight most of the night but in the end Creighton Prep prevailed over defending Class A champion Omaha North on opening night of the high school football season.

The Junior Jays took the lead for good on a four yard touchdown run by Luke Sims in the 4th quarter. After the Vikings got it to midfield in the final seconds, John Bullock made the final take for Prep to seal the win for the Tim Johnk's team.
