NEW YORK (KMTV) — Former Huskers cornerback Lamar Jackson has reportedly agreed to a NFL free agent deal with the New York Jets.

Jackson was named NU's Defensive MVP in 2019 & was a 2nd team All-Big Ten selection.
The California native was ranked as the #1 safety by Rivals coming out of high school in 2016.

Two former NU players were drafted on Saturday as Khalil Davis went in the 6th round to the Bucs, while his brother Carlos went in the 7th round to the Steelers.
